The Apple Magic Mouse 2 was launched about four years ago. However, it’s still a worthy option for Mac owners. Unlike other traditional computer mice, Apple’s Magic Mouse 2 has been fine-tuned for macOS and instead of a set of physical keys, it features a touch-sensitive area. It works similarly to a trackpad and you can execute macOS gestures normally by swiping and tapping on it.

The Magic Mouse 2 charges over a Lightning cable, so you don’t have to worry about replacing AAA batteries every once in a while. Although since the charging port is situated at an odd location on the mouse’s bottom, you can’t operate it while it’s topping up. Apple says the mouse also supports fast-charging and on a single charge, lasts about a month or more depending on your use.

The Apple Magic Keyboard is built primarily for Mac devices as well. It connects via Bluetooth and comes with dedicated Mac keys instead of the Windows ones. Similar to the Magic Mouse 2, the Magic Keyboard can be recharged through a Lightning cable and as per Apple, it can last nearly a month. Fortunately, the Apple Magic Keyboard is equipped with the good-ol’ scissor key mechanism that can easily withstand dust particles.
